Exercise

 

Each morning at 9.20am, the children will engage in health and well-being activities for half an hour. This will vary from activities such as; yoga, a walk outdoors and other mindfulness activities. Children will continue to wear their full school uniform for these activities on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. They are not asked to bring their PE kit to school on these days.

 

Our Outdoor PE days will take place on a Tuesday and Thursday, Children will need to come to school dressed in their outdoor P.E kit. They are not asked to bring a change of uniform on these days.

 

This half term, our skills focus will be: ball skills/football. 
 

Our P.E kit is a plain white t-shirt and black shorts/trousers and pumps/trainers. Updates regarding the type of physical activity will be sent home via Seesaw, notifying of any changes to specific clothing needs.

 

Please ensure that children have their labelled water bottles in school every day.

 

Every other Thursday, Mrs Walsh will also be leading the children in Outdoor Learning/Forest school activities. Children should continue to wear their outdoor PE kit for these sessions. 
Outdoor Learning will begin on Monday 14th September and continue every other week. Please keep a lookout for Mrs Walsh's days which will be sent to you via Seesaw.

 

If there are any changes to our timetable and activities, you will be notified via Seesaw. 

 

 

Children are responsible for their P.E kits & school uniform, so please ensure that all items are clearly labelled with your child's name. Diolch!

 

 

 

Healthy Snack Time

 

Please send your child into school with a healthy snack for them to enjoy at Snack Time; we encourage fruit & vegetables!
